USDA Organic certification is a production and handling standard. On qualifying Tozzy products, the seal shows that the product was certified under USDA National Organic Program requirements.
Look for the USDA Organic seal and certifier statement on each product label. The seal may appear on products labeled “100 percent organic” or “organic”; the ingredient list shows what is in that product.
Defining the USDA Standard
Certified organic products are overseen by a USDA-authorized certifying agent and produced under rules covering allowed substances and excluded methods such as genetic engineering, ionizing radiation, and sewage sludge.

- USDA Organic Seal: The official green and white or black and white circular logo.
- Certified Organic Statement: A clear indication of the certifying body beneath the ingredient list.
- Transparency: Detailed ingredient lists confirming pure, simple sourcing.
What to Look for on Labels
USDA Organic Seal
The USDA seal may be used on products labeled “100 percent organic” and on products labeled “organic,” which contain at least 95% organic ingredients, excluding salt and water. Check the package for the applicable label.
Sourcing Origin
Check the package for ingredient sourcing and origin information when it is provided.
Ingredient Transparency
Review the ingredient list on each product page and package for complete product-specific details.
